Rose Womb~Heart

Our wombs are so intricately connected to the heart. Both womb and heart can be thought of being threaded together by an energetic flow that weaves an infinity of love through these centers. In our society the womb has been so severely disconnected from the heart, and thus our creativity disconnected from love. Quoted from my teachers Seren and Azra Bertand in their text Womb Awakening, "When our love does not have roots, and our power is not connected to the heart, suffering is birthed."

My intention with crafting my Womb drum was to attune the frequency and energetic blueprint to that of the Womb-heart. Beating in tune with the rhythm of life within. Assisting to move the energy in harmonious flow once again. Often what obstructs this flow is the shut down of either the heart within the womb, or the womb within the heart. A gateway exists between these two portals.

Often trauma and deep unexpressed grief is held here. Through journeying deep within this portal, assisted through the beating of energy from the drum, one can access and deeply feel and express what lays dormant and often unconscious. Thus allowing for the merging of centers, and bringing our life force back into the frequency of love.

I am in deep gratitude to Starfeather who taught and assisted me in ceremony in making this drum, for her teacher and wisdom holder WhiteHorse woman from the Cherokee nation in feeling the deep call to share in this craft and magic weaving and for the divine in guiding me to birth this sacred tool to be used in assistance for healing and reactivation of the womb-heart.
