Womb-Hara Breathwork Ceremony in Haiku, Maui February 4th (4pm-7pm hst)

In this 3 hour Womb|Hara Breathwork ceremony you will be taught the Sacred Breath Method (a Trauma informed & Yin approach to breathwork) and guided through a sacred ceremonial space to clear and activate the Womb|Hara space followed by an integration circle. The Breathwork portion asks of you to circularly breathe (without pause) for approximately an hour into the Womb|Hara, merging with the Heart. With ample oxygenation of the body we are supported in accessing alternate states of consciousness while facilitating deep somatic healing. This form of breathwork can be likened to a plant medicine ceremony utilizing your breath as the mechanism of action whilst supporting deep physical, emotional, & spiritual shifts. Kylie Cole will be guiding us through a sound healing during savasana utilizing the healing frequencies and tones of crystal bowls. As we sit in circle and integrate our journeys together we will be guided through a tea ceremony led by Genevieve Munoz.
Our Hearts house a doorway into the depths of our Wombs and Hara's. They are intricately connected and one could say they are actually one. Through wounding, trauma, conditioning, and blocks they often are not moving together in synastry but rather are cut off from one another and operating in distinguishing ways.
Our Womb and Hara's hold a powerful magnetic primal energy that pulls into its orbit all that is desired. When not merged with the heart this energy is utilized in a way that breeds distortion, abuse, and harm. Our Hearts are the most powerful source of electric energy in the human body and when deeply open and freely flowing has the ability to heal the wounds of the womb and hara whilst purifying any distortions.
Awakening the Womb and healing deep seated traumas that lie here is a vital journey for the embodied Womban. Her ability to stay present within her body and access the primordial wisdom that lies here is what our ancestors knew to be the key to the continuation of harmony upon this earth. As she descends her energy down into the depths of her womb clearing the wounds of past, she is able to awaken a new frequency here as her Shakti stirs and births new paradigms upon this earth and within her life.
Men have often been left out of the conversation when it comes to the Womb. As if they too haven't been birthed through a womb themselves. Another misconception that I hear often is that men don't have wombs, perhaps if we equate the womb with a uterus solely then yes we would be led to that assumption. But this energetic portal existing within us all is not based upon the physical presence of a uterus. What is often referred to as the lower Dan tien in Eastern traditions and in Japan called the Hara, is just that, it is the womb space.
For a man to die and be reborn to himself, just as a woman, is to descend deeply into the void, deeply into his body, and escavate all shadows to integrate back into the core of one's being. This journey must include the womb, the hara, if he is to alchemize and integrate his erotic shadow and wield his sexual energy as the healing force that it is. This ceremony is deeply experiential. It may involve intense energetic emotional release. The ceremony does not substitute for psychotherapy, but it can significantly deepen and enhance psychotherapy and other healing and personal growth efforts.
DISCLAIMER: Because this ceremony can promote strong physical and emotional release, it is not advised for persons with a history of cardiovascular disease, including angina or heart attack, high blood pressure, glaucoma, retinal detachment, osteoporosis, significant recent physical injuries or surgery.
This ceremony is not advised for persons with severe mental illness or seizure disorders or for persons taking major medications. A modified breath is recommended if you are taking regular medication that alters brain chemistry (i.e. ADD medication, anti-anxiety, anti-depressant, OCD medication, etc.)

Diabetes and kidney disease are strongly advised against breathwork as it produces a condition in the body called metabolic acidosis, and any altering in breathing rate could be life threatening.
